Sports & Recreation Tournaments

HDF organizes various sports competitions, including the Winter Challenge (football and netball), Lady Soccer Tournament, Horse Racing Competition, and Pool Tournament, to promote community engagement and healthy lifestyles. Through these events, talented individuals are identified and provided opportunities for further development and promotion in their respective sports.

Educational Competitions

We host spelling a business challenges among high schools within the Butha-Buthe district, fostering academic excellence and entrepreneurial skills among youth.

Entrepreneurship Competitions

Our annual entrepreneurship competitions bring together Hololo producers to showcase their products, promoting innovation and economic development.

Market Facilitation

HDF serves as a market for local producers by hosting annual events where products are purchased and donated to the elderly, people with disabilities, and destitute community members.

Society Coordination

As the mother body for 18 production self-help groups, HDF facilitates monthly meetings where contributions are mobilized to support each group. During these meetings, a minimum of M20,000.00 is provided to the host self-help group to strengthen and enhance its production activities.

Community Support Programs

We implement various initiatives to support vulnerable members of our community, ensuring that everyone has access to basic necessities and opportunities for growth. For example, we donate school items annually to both primary and high school learners in Botha-Bothe.
